god is working on getting you out of your mess

I have good news! God is working on getting you out of your mess. Is that hard for you to see? Keep reading for a great, big faith boost.

Earlier this week, I posted this Word from God on my Facebook page:

My child, I know EXACTLY what you are thinking. You are wondering how you are ever going to overcome that problem. It seems impossible that your life will ever change. But NO THING is impossible for Me to carry out. NO THING! I have a way out for you. TRUST Me.

Getting from Point A to Point B might seem impossible to you but God is working. There is nothing too hard for Him. There might be a wall standing in your way but if He has to, God will carve a hole in that wall for you to crawl through.

Still, although God is working, the way out doesn’t always appear immediately. For one thing, it takes time for the right circumstances to develop. Let me explain. I was laid off. While looking for another job, God already knew where He would put me although I didn’t know. I prayed over my job search and asked for God’s guidance. I went on interviews that didn’t work out. Sometimes I got discouraged but I continued to trust God. I took temporary assignments while looking for a full-time job. When I finally landed in the right place, I learned some details. When I was first laid off, someone else was in my position. He ended up getting a promotion in a different department. That took two years.

Do you see where I’m going with this? We often can’t see that God is working but He is! Right this very moment as you read this article God is working on your situation. He is working on bringing the resources you need. They are on the way to you now! That is why it’s so important that you stay in faith.

You stay in faith by continuously meditating on God’s promises. Speak them out. You already know I’m a huge believer in praying God’s Word. That’s because it works. Faith is released when you speak God’s Word. Faith brings God on the scene.

right circumstances

When I first left a spiritually abusive church I’d been involved with for 16 years, I felt awful about myself. I was sick with disappointment and couldn’t see past my nose. I wanted God to do something with my life but from that place of brokenness, I couldn’t see that anything would ever change.

Oh, but my life did change! It began with a decision to believe. I took a baby step and then another. I read my Bible and then had a fit when nothing changed within 60 seconds. I calmed down and then read some more. I prayed God’s Word sometimes with tears streaming down my face. Over the years, I had several more fits but I stuck with the Word and prayer. Eventually I stopped getting upset. I started feeling better about myself. I came to understand what God wanted me to do – write! I’ve written dozens of motivational Bible teaching articles and have authored a book. I plan to publish two more by the end of this year.

I’ll be the first to say that when you’re broken and bruised and sitting in a mess a mile long, it’s tough to believe that God is working. But you were Born Again to do hard things! God lives inside you and you CAN decide to believe His Word.

Listen, trusting God’s Word is what is going to take you out of your difficulties. If you don’t believe God’s Word, what will you believe? If you don’t believe God is working, you’ll be sitting right where you are now this time next year. Your situation might even get worse. Yuck! You don’t want that!

Speak these scriptural confessions out loud several times each day. I urge you to look up the verses and memorize them.

The Lord is bringing me out of every difficulty (Psalm 107:4).

The Lord is leading and guiding me (John 14:13).

The Lord is healing & restoring me & my family (Psalm 23:3).

The Lord is supplying every need (Philippians 4:19).

God has not forgotten about me (Hebrews 13:5).

I trust in the Lord with all my heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The Lord is prospering me (Joshua 1:7).

Beloved, you might not see how you’re ever going to get out of the mess you’re in. But trust that God is working. He has a definite plan!
