Your Acts of Obedience Are Powerful and Precious to the Lord

Every act of obedience is powerful. Each act of obedience is precious to God. When you…

  • Go to church
  • Use your talent to serve Him
  • Take responsibility for your family
  • Choose to walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh…

God sees and smiles. He takes note and He is pleased.

You know how it is. Somebody says something you don’t like. Your first reaction might be to spit out unkind words. Instead, you decide to act like Jesus. God loves that! He loves it that you choose Him over the flesh.

Think about it. Every time you pray and get into the Word, you sow a seed.

Your church attendance is special to God as you sow His heart into your own life and the lives of your children.

You need to change the way you look at your obedience. It’s not about patting yourself on the back (although there are times when you should celebrate your accomplishments). It’s more about acting on God’s Word. You are a DOER of the Word and therefore blessed. You should never see an act of obedience as routine. Never go through the motions. As I mentioned above, you sow seeds into your family, workplace and the places where you serve God each time you obey God. Those seeds will produce the fruit of the Spirit in your life.

God is a REWARDER of those that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Never see your obedience as routine.

You are the salt of the Earth. Your acts of obedience are seasoning this world. You are part of God’s plan bringing holiness and righteousness to the Earth and into the atmosphere around you. You are an INFLUENCE.

Hebrews 11:6 says that God REWARDS those that diligently seek Him. Isaiah 45:19 tells us that God does not tell us to serve and obey Him for nothing. God rewards because He is a GIVER. He wants to give to you. Don’t have a “That’s okay God. You don’t have to give me anything” attitude. That is not humility. You don’t obey God for the rewards. You do it because you love Him. Still, God wants to bless you. Trust Him for the reward. The world needs to see that obedience to God is beneficial.

Amen! God is faithful and like a loving abba father that He is, He’ll always embrace His loving children through among many other things, His rewards!
